You have to complete 1 free survey to get the activation code. Once you get the code you can activate the game, otherwise you wont be able to finish the installation and play the game.

The game doesn’t have a PEGI rating yet but I will list the “bad” things in the game bellow for you!
– Has a dead body but with clothes and not degraded, it is like someone sleeping.
– Wolves do attack you and this might be scary for an 11 year old

I had no survey completions from Australia that day, you must try and complete a survey to be able to activate the game.
I followed the instructions, It has allowed me to download the demo but to start the game I need an activation key. Which wasn’t given to me. I’ve tried the surveys again, but now its not allowing me to do them. Its weird that I did the surveys but it was telling you that there was nothing from Australia that day. What do I do next? I would really like to play this demo because I am considering in buying the game but I would love to test it out first.

I have used two private email accounts, I have put one into the email section.
There must be something I am doing wrong.
1. the first thing it asks me to do is to download the activation key/ on this website – http://gripfiles.net/thelongdarkactivationkey
2. Then it says to complete one of the two offers below. either something to do with mcdonadals or a shopping voucher.
3. then after completing that it directs me to a page with sliver, Gold and Platium offers. it asks me to complete one of these. that’s what I did.
4. It redirects me to another website where its says activation key.
5. I click on it and it says ‘This offer has expired’

The link for “surveys” to get the activation key always lands on sides, where I have to pay to proceed to get the key for the supposedly free demo. I have tried several times and wasted a lot of time. If I have this kind of trouble with a simple demo I don’t want to know what kind of hoops I will have to jump through to get the actual game working. Sorry, but the game is now off my wish-list.
